OZ Racing Super Sport: bold design and technical toughness for crossovers and compact SUVs

The new frontier of technical design meets accessibility with Super Sport, the latest addition to the OZ Racing lineup. Created to expand the brand’s offering in a segment previously underrepresented, Super Sport positions itself as a reference point for crossover and compact SUV drivers seeking alloy wheels that combine structural reliability, distinctive aesthetics, and 100% Made in Italy quality.

An ambitious project born from a concrete need. The Super Sport project stems from the desire to offer a wheel that could meet the needs of an increasingly diverse clientele—one that values quality and substance. With this goal in mind, the OZ team developed an entirely new design, departing from the brand’s traditional style, aimed at drivers of non-sporty vehicles who still want to stand out.

High strength and optimized production technologies. The real strength of Super Sport lies in its numbers: 800 kg max load for the 8x18” version and an impressive 870 kg for the 8x19”. These figures place it at the top of the OZ range in terms of load capacity. This is thanks to low-pressure casting technology, which ensures excellent material consistency, and meticulous engineering that has achieved these results without compromising design. Additionally, the fully conical drilling simplifies technical application: it allows the use of standard bolts and improves compatibility across a wider range of vehicles. A new type of mounting ring has also been introduced, promising future benefits in terms of versatility.

This robust construction pairs with a distinctive new design philosophy that sets Super Sport apart visually.

A bold design made to stand out. Aesthetically, Super Sport defies convention: its five V-shaped double spokes, with mounting holes set within the structure, create a visual impression of length and dynamism. The sculpted contours along each spoke add movement and visual lightness to a design that, at its core, conveys strength and solidity. The look is deliberately distinct from OZ’s traditional styling, marking a new formal direction. For the U.S. market, Super Sport will be offered in three finishes: Grigio Corsa, Matt Black, and Star Graphite. In Europe and Japan, the launch begins with two versions: Matt Black and Star Graphite.

Targeted at a knowledgeable and discerning audience. The Super Sport user profile is well-defined: a driver of a mid-size vehicle who values premium solutions over generic or low-cost options, yet doesn’t seek extreme performance or aggressive styling.
