Brief technical description
The wheel consists of a 6082-T6 light alloy flange and a carbon fiber composite barrel.
Flange and barrel are joined together by gluing and special coupling, resulting in extremely: rigid, light and high-performance one-piece wheel.
The previous 7x13’ version was used in 2023 by the Race Up Team of the University of Padua and contributed to the team's overall victory on the circuits of: Varano de' Melegari and at the Hungaroring, near Budapest.
Carbon-fiber composite barrel improves the wheel performances with further weight reduction of around 20 % compared to the already lightweight magnesium OZ Racing wheel.
